Problem:

-9997 error occurs when re-spooling an electronic form PDF or PCL document back to an System i output queue.

Solution:

Check the "Enable 1024 byte AS/400 command lines" setting from the File/Settings/Options tab in the WinSpool/400 Electronic Forms Print Server program. Essentially what is happening is the command is being truncated; checking this option allows for the entire command to be processed.
