Problem:

Why are 10 character spool file names only 8 long in the resulting download attributes?

Solution:

WinSpool/400 Report Download was previously limited to 8 character file names when the @SPOOL keyword was used for the template file names in WinSpool/400 95/NT. This limitation has been removed starting with WinSpool/400 95/NT V2.41.

Note: The WinSpool/400 Report Download 16-Bit version still has this limitation because it's a 16-Bit application that can only work with 8.3 file names.
