1106 Error occurred when scanning

Problem:

PaperChase for Notes program returns a 1106 error when attempting to scan a document after playing around with brightness/contrast settings.

Solution:

Try starting the Imaging for Windows program and scanning a document using the File/Acquire Image menu in the Imaging for Windows program. If this doesn't work, your scanner drivers may have somehow become corrupted. You may have to reload your scanner drivers.
