Problem:

The following errors occurr after sending text messages with the SMTPTEXT CL command:

Example #1 

ERROR IN BATCH SMTP COMMAND SEQUENCE.
  Ending sequence <CRLF>.<CRLF>
  554 Bare line terminator (#5.6.0).

Example #2 

ERROR IN BATCH SMTP COMMAND SEQUENCE.
  Ending sequence <CRLF>.<CRLF>

Solution:

Install SMTP/400 V1.34 or later and the SMTPTEXT command will now send a CR/LF combination after each data line. This should resolve the problem.
