In order to allow a single report to end up in multiple destination directories, the user needs to do the following:

1.) Download the Batch Report Server V2.0.48 or above from the RJS web site and install the update to their PC.

2.) In the Batch Report Server "File/Settings" screen, the "Settings Database" field must be changed to C:\WSPBCH32\WSPBCH3B.MDB The WSPBCH3B.MDB is a new settings database that allows a report file to be sent to multiple destination directories or Lotus Notes databases. If the user has existing settings they will have to be re-keyed.

    • The WSPBCH3B.MDB database should be in the WSPBCH32 directory on the RJS CD or you can request a copy of the database from RJS Software Systems.

3.) In the Batch Report Server "File/Settings" screen, the "Allow Multiple Destinations for Each Report" setting must be enabled. This enables the multiple destination functionality.

    • NOTE**: The "Use Extended Report Select" setting must always be enabled when sending a report to more than 1 destination directory when the "Allow Multiple Destinations for Each Report" setting is enabled . Any "Output Directory List" entries that don't have the "Use Extended Report Select" setting , will be ignored.
    • NOTE**: If specifying that the same report goes into the same destination directory, the user MUST use a different report prefix to avoid report files from being overlayed inadvertently because of duplicate file names.
    • WARNING**: Be very careful when specifying "Extended Report Select" criteria entries that allow a report to go to multiple destination directories. By using this functionality it becomes easier to accidentally send a report to an incorrect directory if you don't correctly specify your "Extended Report Select" criteria.
