Problem:
User installed WinSpool/400 Batch Report Server from April 2004 CD and gets this error when starting the Batch Report Server:
"An unknown error occurred while retrieving the Output Directory List"
Log file shows:
ERROR: An unknown error occurred while retrieving the Output Directory List. 7/13/2004, 11:15:07 AM Trace point: 3100

Solution:
Have them install a newer version of WinSpool/400 Batch Report Server from the web site. WinSpool/400 Batch Report Server version 2.0.117 on CD has a bug in it.
