Cannot lock file - Trace Point: 1000

Problem:

When using the View Archived Reports program to access the WSPINDEX.MDB file on a CD Created with the CD Rom Archive Creator, the user gets the following error: "Cannot lock file - trace point 1000"

Solution:

If a user gets this error, they can download the View Archived Reports V1.15 program update from our web site and this should resolve the problem. Prior to V1.15 we attempted to open the WSPINDEX.MDB file for shared access when on a CD and it attempts to create a user locking file (WSPINDEX.LDB) on the CD. Since the CD is read-only, this does not work correctly unless the V1.15 patch is applied for the View Archived Reports program.
