Corrupt PDFs using Castelle FaxPress Email Gateway (incoming)

Problem:

Using Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.x or 8.x:

We see anywhere from 50-100% failure rate due to corrupt PDFs when used in conjunction with the Enterprise Fax Solution.

Version of Castelle's software is 8.1

Solution:

UPDATE: Upgrading the Castelle software to the current version should address the issues with all versions of Adobe.

Uninstall whatever version of Adobe Acrobat that you have, and install version 7.0. For whatever reason, the other two versions do not play nicely, even though the PDFs being generated on the AS/400 are being created correctly.
