Purchase a license

To purchase a license, or just to get price information please contact Sales.

Demo Licenses

Our demos do not in any way hinder use of the product, save that the product will cease to function at the demo's expiry. To receive a demo license please contact Technical Support or generate a 7-day temporary license.

Permanent Licenses

If you have already purchased the software, the license you initially received will work indefinitely unless you perform a changeout.

Moving Licenses/Changeouts

A changeout occurs when the serial number, model number or LPAR changes on the host machine. This is the only system information relevant to an RJS license. OS upgrades do not affect licensing, but hardware upgrades might, as will software moves between machines. If you are moving your software to another machine, please contact Technical Support. We will be more than happy to set up the new machine with 30-day temporary codes, to give you a chance to get things working prior to going live.

Once you have things working and remove our software from the original machine, we will grant permanent licenses to the new machine. We will give out these licenses upon receipt of a filled out Changeout Letter.

How do I find the serial/model/LPAR #?

If you do not know or cannot locate this information, please add the one of our product libraries to your library list and run the command below to display your system information.

PRDINFO

If you are on a new machine and have not loaded any of our libraries yet, these commands may also work:

For finding the serial number:

DSPSYSVAL QSRLNBR

For finding the model number:

DSPSYSVAL QMODEL

If the box is a i5 (520 and newer) the default base LPAR is 1. If the box is older than a i5 (older than a 520) the default base LPAR is 0.
