Problem:
User is receiving an error -3 in the logfile for WS/BRS during conversion from a spool file via a DataImport mask and the conversion was subsequently not taking place.

Solution:
Enabled "Convert report to TXT prior to DataImport" setting under File->Settings and conversion was successful.
