This upgrade will bring Email Report Server/400 to version 2.61 For help finding what version you are currently at, please read the FAQ

Step 1: Back up old library

RNMOBJ OBJ(QSYS/RJSERS) OBJTYPE(*LIB) NEWOBJ(RJSERSV1)

Step 2: Download

Download Email Report Server/400 library from RJS.

Username = *********
Password = ***********

Step 3 Install

Use FTP Library Installation to install Email Report Server/400 library (RJSERS) onto the System i.

Unzip the file to the default location.

Enter your System i IP Address, username and password.

Take each numbered step, waiting until the previous step is finished before continuing.

You will see an Error 550. This is normal behavior. If you see any additional errors please contact Technical Support.

ADDLIBLE RJSERS

Step 4: Copy DTAARAs

Use the following command to copy the old DTAARA's and all the users tables to the new library

ERSUPG RJSERSV1 RJSERS

Step 5: License

If necessary, enter new license codes.

Step 6: Clean up

Remove the Email Report Server/400 library

RMVLIBLE RJSERS

Step 7: Finish

Email Report Server/400 should now be completely upgraded.
