Problem:
Error: Not licensed for AS/400 system -or- your AS/400 user id/password has expired and needs to be changed -or- your AS/400 FTP server is not running. Download cancelled.
Solution:
1. Check the version of the library to determine if they are at the LPAR version of the library.
-or-
2. Check their AS/400 information by using the PRDINFO command.
-or-
3. Verify to make sure their access codes are correct
-or-
4. Check to make sure their AS/400 user has not expired: WRKUSRPRF
-or-
5. Check to see if the user has Limited capabilities set to *YES or *PARTIAL, if so check to see if the command they are trying to use allows limited users to use the command.
Example: With WinSpool/400 Batch / Email Report Server, command to check would be WSPL016
-or-
6. Check to see if the FTP server on the AS/400 is running. Type NETSTAT on the command line select option 3. Look to see if they have ftp-con with a state of Listen.
-or-
7. Make sure that there isn't a space before the IP address.
-or-
8. If they are monitoring 2 AS/400's, make sure the User Profile information is the same.
-or-
9. If all else fails, try restarting the FTP service on the AS/400. Once, a user went and manually ended the individual FTP jobs that were running, they restarted the WinSpool/400 Batch Report Server, then if worked.
