Problem:

The version of this mask is higher than what can be read.

Error -8 at TP: 20010 when trying to convert report to Excel using WinSpool/400 Email Report Server

Solution:

The customer had version 5 of DataImport, then they installed version 6 of the DataImport software.

When the customer is trying to use the new version of the DataImport Converter they were getting the above error.

Use the following steps to solve the problem:

In the WinSpool/400 Email Report Server INI file there are 2 settings that need to be changed:

Either change the DIWUseEXE to 0 so it doesn't use the DataImport EXE and it'll use the DataImport Report Converter, or change the DIWEXEPath to version 6 of DataImport.
