Error -9997, FTP Error 22049 when trying to Re-Spool back to an outq with the WinSpool/400 Electronic Form Print Server

Problem:

In the Log File: "Error -9997" when trying to Re-Spool back to an outq with the WinSpool/400 Electronic Form Print Server

Message Box: "FTP Error 22049"

AS/400: "Error number 3462"

This problem occured when a user ended an FTP job on the AS/400

Solution:

IBM Said:

"Error number 3462 is EOWNERTERM, meaning a job ended while it was still holding a mutex. While we have had bugs in the past that could cause this, at this point it usually means someone did an ENDJOBABN somewhere, usually on a job that was hung for some reason. There is nothing that can be done at this time to get things to work other than IPL." Their suggestion is to IPL whenever possible to clear up the condition and then load the latest CUME and DB PTF's in order to prevent this from happening again.
