Problem:
Error - Unmonitored error 70 Permission denied Trace point 210 or runtime error 52 "bad file name or number" occurs when downloading with Batch Report Server.
Solution:
1.) Make sure that only one copy of the Batch Report Server EXE is running. If a copy is already running and a second copy is started, an error could potentially occur when starting the second copy of the Batch Report Server because the log file is already opened by the first copy of the Batch Report Server.
2.) Make sure the Batch Report Server log file is not marked as read-only. Use Windows explorer to check the file properties for the Batch Report Server log file: C:\WSPBCH32\WSPBCH32.LOG
3.) If the Batch Report Server log file WSPBCH32.LOG is stored on a network drive, this error could occur if the network drive share is set as read-only. Make sure the network drive has read/write authority so the Batch Report Server can open the log file.
4.) If the Batch Report Server log file WSPBCH32.LOG is stored on a network drive, this error could occur if the log file is being backup up by a network backup program. If this is the case, the Batch Report Server should not be run while a network file backup is running.
