Error 10000 at TP 1000 Scanning to PDF with Scan Workstation

Problem:
User was scanning documents and saving them as Text Searchable PDF's. During check-in they would get the following error:
ERROR: 10000 Error occurred while saving image to PDF file Trace point: 1000 1/13/2006 10:42:00 AM
Solution:
They had downloaded everything to a network drive and installed the ScanSoft SDK on that network drive and registered all the OCX controls there. Everything would work as long as they were connected (signed on) to that network server. Every time they would reboot they would get this error because the connection to that server would not automatically re-establish. They will need to be aware of this each time they reboot or install the ScanSoft SDK locally.

User had tried updating from 1.0.xx version of Image Scan Workstation to the newest 1.1.xx version by just downloading the update zip file. This did not include some of the DLLs so they had to download the newest base installation (currently 1.1.7 for example) and then use the update zip file to upgrade to the newest version.

If the report is around 158 pages with a lot of text, there is currently a timeout value that could cause you to get the above error.
Notes:
- Look in the SYSTEM32 folder to see if they have BT2P.DLL
- Make sure the Enable full page OCR support is enabled
