Problem:
Error 478281729 is received when logging into Lotus Notes

Solution:
We have not been able to figure out what causes this error. It doesn't appear to log anything in the Notes Server log.
In this particular case we ended up sending reports via SMTP which bypasses the Lotus Notes Client software.
