Problem:
Error 52 from WinSpool/400 Email Report Server after Downloading and Emailing a Reports

Solution:
This error can happen if a user typed over the default WSPMAIL output queue entry in the Email Report Server Edit Output Queue/Email Recipient screen. The error is error 52 at trace point 1460.
Disable the Use MAILRPT API setting and this error should go away. The AS/400 WINSPOOL library should also be updated to the current version. The WinSpool/400 TCP/IP API should also be updated.
