Problem:

User received the following error: 7067 'Couldn't attach file' while trying to send email via the WinSpool/400 Email Report Server software software with the "Use Lotus Notes OLE Email" API enabled.

Solution:

The most likely resolution is: 1.) The users email database has exceeded the disk quota set by the Notes Administrator. The database needs to be cleaned up or the disk quota needs to be changed or removed.

Other resolutions:

1.) Switch to a different Lotus Notes User ID file when logging into the Lotus Notes Client software and also change the Location Settings to point to the new User ID file's mail file. This has resolved the problem in at least 1 case where a user has encountered the 7067 error.

2.) A better approach is to enable the "Use SMTP API" option for the WinSpool/400 Email Report Server software. This resolution eliminates the need to use the Lotus Notes client when sending email via the Email Report Server software.
