Problem:
It appears that this problem can be caused under Windows NT 4.0 when DCOM configuration parameters are not set correctly. Because the PDF Report Converter uses ActiveX/COM it apparently requires DCOM settings in the Windows NT Registry.

Solution:
On the PC, use the following steps to resolve the problem:
1.) Select "Start/Run" and type DCOMCNFG.EXE to start the DCOM configuration program.
2.) When the "Distributed COM Configuration Properties" screen is displayed, click on the "Default Security" tab.
3.) Under the "Default Access Permissions" section, click the "Edit Default" button.
4.) If there are user names listed here, add the "Adminstrators" group to the list and set the access type to "Allow Access".
This should resolve the problem.
