Error Symantec Script Blocking while trying to run a multi letter mail merge

Problem:

Symantec Script Blocking has prevented a script action that could be harmful to you. This error was occuring when trying to run a multiple letter mail merge with iSeries Office Integrator.

Solution:

What was causing the problem was the Corporate version of Norton Antivirus was installed on the PC when there was an older version of Norton Antivirus that was installed first. Script blocking was still left turned on when the Corporate version of Norton was installed, so there was no way to disable the script blocking.

What they need to do is:

- uninstall the Corporate version of Norton Antivirus

- reinstall the origional version of Norton Antivirus

- turn off the script blocking

- uninstall the original version of Norton Antivirus

The multiple letter mail merge now should work, and now you can reinstall the Corporate version of Norton Antivirus.
