Problem:

Error VIM 42270721 when emailing reports from WinSpool/400 Email Report Server to a Lotus Notes inbox.

Solution:

This error is apparently caused by the Lotus Notes SENT box being full. The resolution is to clear the SENT box and compact the database. They would want to proceed with this fix carefully. It is not for the weak-hearted.
