In Version 1.0.47 of the RJS Document Image Viewer, the capability to export individual TIFF pages was added. Some customers may receive large TIFF documents via email or fax and they wish to separate the document pages and then check in the pages as multiple documents instead of one large document.

Process for Exporting TIFF Pages from the RJS Document Viewer For this example we will assume there was a fax that was received into a folder in WebDocs called Inbound Faxes. We will also assume that the user has the RJS Imaging Scan Workstation loaded on their PC for scanning documents. The Scan Workstation will be used to re-import the individual TIFF pages as multiple documents after they are separated.

1.) Log into WebDocs and view a multiple page TIFF image using the RJS Document Image Viewer. If the RJS viewer has been installed on your PC it should launch automatically when a TIFF image is viewed.

2.) Once the image is displayed in the RJS Document Imaging Viewer, select the File/Export Pages menu setting. You will be asked "Do you really want to export all pages to c:\program files\rjsimgscan\scanto?" Select Yes, to export the pages as individual images. You are simulating a batch scan by exporting all images as individual pages to the RJS Imaging Scan Workstation Scan To directory.

Note: If needed the default export directory can be changed on the File/Settings screen in the RJS Document Imaging Viewer.
