Problem:

I am running OS/400 V3R2 and just started using TCP/IP and want to start using WinSpool/400 TCP/IP instead of the NetSoft NS/Router.

After installing WinSpool/400 with TCP/IP DLL WNSPIP32.DLL V1.x.x, I am getting a 22044 error with WinSpool/400 when attempting to download a report.

After installing WinSpool/400 with TCP/IP DLL WNSPIP32.DLL V3.x.x, I am getting a 25746 error with WinSpool/400 when attempting to download a report.

Apparenty V3R2 does not like some of the FTP calls we're using with the newer AS/400 systems. We used to pass the file names as Library/File Name. On newer systems we pass the file name as /QSYS.LIB/LIBRARY.LIB/FILE.FILE as the naming convention.

Solution:

We recompiled our TCP/IP DLL WNSPIP32.DLL and WNSPIPEX.EXE as V1.3.1 specifically for V3R2 users.
