How to set the Kofax VRS driver to stop scanning when the scanner runs out of paper

This is how to have the Kofax VRS scanner driver stop scanning when the scanner runs out of paper instead of getting the out of paper message, using Kofax VRS 4.0 driver

Start the "Virtual Rescan Administration Utility" by running the following program:

C:\Program Files\Kofax\ImgCtls\Bin\ErrorCfg.exe 

Go the "Errors" tab and change the "Out of Paper" setting to say "Return Error" instead of "Auto Resolve".

After changing the setting to "Return Error", click Save and now after the scanner runs out of paper, the scanning process should stop without displaying the "Out of Paper" dialog from the Kofax VRS Twain Driver.
