Problem:

User receives an "Incompatible Database Version" Error message when attempting to run the Email Report Server or Batch Report Server software.

Solution:

Check the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory for the following DLL files:

MSAJT112.DLL MSAJT200.DLL VBDB300.DLL

If the files exist, the versions/files dates should be verified against the versions in the Email Report Server or Batch Report Server directory. If the files are older than the ones shipped with our products, simply copy the RJS versions into the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. If the files are newer than the RJS versions, simply rename the versions in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory so our software doesn't pick up the different versions of the DLL's.

These DLL files affect our ability to open and process MS Access Version 2.0 Database Files.

Note: If you're still not sure how to handle this situation after reading this document, contact RJS Software Systems for assistance.
