Problem:

Installation Wizard for Outlook Express 5.0 Pops Up When Starting Email Conversation

Solution:

This can happen if the user has recently installed Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 (IE5) and Outlook Express 5.0.

Start the Internet Explorer Web Browser and do the following:

-Go to the Tools/Internet Options menu.

-For the Internet E-mail program, select the Blank entry with no data in it. This tells IE 5.0 not to use the Outlook Express software as the default mail client.

-Click the Apply button to save the new settings.

Now the Email Report Server software should start correctly.
