Installation instructions for RJS Scan Launcher

RJS Scan Launch is an applicaiton with a Command Line Interface which allows you to launch the RJS Image Scan Workstation and preload index values. This is for customers who do the same type of scanning each day who want an easy way to start their scanning process.

Requirements: The RJS Scan Launcher EXE requires the RJS Imaging Scan Workstation EXE V1.0.86 or above.

Install rjsscanlaunch1.exe into the RJSIMGSCAN folder.

Create shortcut for rjsscanlaunch1.exe and place onto your desktop. View the properties of shortcut and modify the Target to look something like:

C:\RJSScanLaunch\rjsscanlaunch1.exe OCR/ICR Mask path~MyFolder~MyType~MyTitle~Key1~Key2~Key3~Key4~Key5~Key~Key~Key~Key~Key10~ScanToDir

When you run this shortcut it will launch the Image Scan Workstation and it will have preloaded index values and will look like this:

Parm15		Scan-To Directory (If passed as blanks, the INI is not modified. If passed, the INI setting is  modified)

If you would like to leave a parameter blank you can leave a space between the ~ separators. You do not need to pass in all 15 parameters if you do not need them. Example: If you only wish to populate the Folder, Type and Title fields your Target may look like this:

C:\RJSScanLaunch\rjsscanlaunch1.exe C:\Program Files\RJSIMGSCAN\ICRMASK\Invoice.NXP~MyFolder~MyType~MyTitle
