Problem:

Invalid Command Response Received Error from WinSpool/400 Commands After Installed the WINSPOOL Library V3.58 with V5R3 support

Solution:

IBM changed some FTP message handling in V5R3, so the V3.58 library update IS REQUIRED for V5R3 and the WinSpool/400 products.

Click here to update your WINSPOOL library to V3.58 or above.

After installation and before using the software for the first time, a system administrator ot security officer user should log on to the AS/400 and run the following commands.

ADDLIBLE WINSPOOL

WSPLADDMS

After running these commands, run the following command to make sure message CPFFFFF was created correctly:

WRKMSGD MSGID(CPFFFFF)

If the message displays, you should be all set to start using the WinSpool/400 software with V5R3.
