Invalid Directory or Disk Full Message from WinSpool/400 16-Bit

Problem:

Invalid Directory or Disk Full Message from WinSpool/400 16-Bit.

Solution:

This error is caused if the users hard disk or network disk space availability falls below 2% of the total capacity of the disk drive. The following options can be used to resolve the problem:

1. Give the user additional free disk space on their local hard disk or additional disk authorization on the file server.

2. In the WIN.INI file there is a setting which can be used to disable disk checking. The setting should look like the example listed below. If the setting is 0, disk checking is disable. If the setting is 1, disk checking is enabled.
