Problem:
If the user has added the cc:Mail directory to the search path in the CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC.BAT files, this will usually set the search path correctly, however some network operating systems such as Novell will overwrite the search path during network login.
Solution:
1. Verify the cc:Mail directory is in the search path by going to the DOS prompt and type PATH and pressing Enter. Note: If you're not sure which directory the cc:Mail program files are installed in you can search the system or the network for the VIM.DLL file. 2. If the cc:Mail directory is not in the search path as expected, you may need to speak with your network support staff to have them add the cc:Mail directory to the search path during network login. The search path for the network is usually controlled via the network login script.
If using Windows NT, search for the keyword "PATH". This will describe how to set the path statement within Windows NT.
