Manually Downloading a Output Queue List using WinSpool commands and the DOS FTP prompt

Example Command Syntax 

quote rcmd winspool/wspl016 OUTQ(QGPL/QPRINT)

The following commands can be used from the DOS FTP command prompt to download an output queue list using the WINSPOOL commands. You must first manually log into the AS/400 FTP server manually.

This method can be used to troubleshoot if users call and tell us that their WinSpool/400 downloads are locking up.

They will also need to know the output queue and library name they want to test with. 

quote rcmd winspool/wspl016 OUTQ(QGPL/QPRINT)

recv qtemp/winoutq c:\test.txt
