Problem:

You have recently installed the WinSpool/400 TCP/IP API update and now they are getting the above error when starting the Email Report Server software. This could also affect the Batch Report Server as well.

Solution:

Have the user reinstall the TCP/IP API Update and the problem should go away. In some cases the installation process doesn't seem to register all the OLE components correctly during setup thus causing this problem.
