Installing PDF Splitter

Please follow these instructions carefully to install PDF Splitter. If you experience any difficulties, you can refer to PDF Splitter's Troubleshooting page or contact Technical Support.

NOTE: If you are installing on Windows Server 2003 please read these instructions first.

Before You Install

There are no software products from RJS that must be installed first prior to the install.	There are no software products from RJS that must be present in order for this product to work as designed.	There is no upgrade necessary after installation.	There are no optional software products for this application.

Installation

These instructions install version 1.0.34b of PDF Splitter

Step 1: Download

Download PDF Splitter from RJS.

Username = *********
Password = ***********

Step 2: Begin Install

As an Administrator, run pdfsplitter.exe. You will be presented with the WinZip Self-Extractor message.

Step 3: Confirm

Click the Setup button to extract installation files/programs. You will be prompted to confirm installation of the product.

Step 4: Select Components/Destination

Click OK to continue setup of PDF Splitter, and again at the next prompt informing you of disk space requirements. You will be prompted to select a destination directory. Either click OK to accept the default installation directory or choose the desired destination directory.

Step 5: Add Icons

You will be prompted to add icons to Program Manager. Click Yes to add icons to Program Manager.

Step 6: Complete Install

You will receive an installation success message. Click OK to complete the installation process. Please continue to PDF Splitter Upgrade
