Problem:
When spooling a PCL report to a Print Queue on the iSeries via the Electronic Forms Print Server, the user can specify the following:
- Print Copies
- Hold/Relase Status
- Save Status
- New User Data Field value
- New Formtype Field value
These attributes seem to get ignored when the Print Server processes the reports.

Solution:

Solution 1
Stop the Print Server and got to FILE > SETTINGS. Make sure that the option "Enable 1024 byte AS/400 command lines" is enabled. This option gives longer command lines and will ensure that the parmeters controlling the options above do not get truncated.

Solution 2
If the problem persists...
[edit]
Step 1
Exit completely out of al the WinSpool products.
[edit]
Step 2
Locate the following files and either rename them or delete them:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CSFTP32.OCX C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\WNSPIP32.DLL
Example: Rename CSFTP32.OCX to CSFTP32.OCX.OLD

Step 3
Download and install the WinSpool/400 32-bit TCP/IP API.
