Printing HTML Forms using WinSpool/400 Electronic Forms Print Server

The WinSpool Electronic Forms Print Server now supports the printing of HTML forms when used in conjunction with the RJS HTML to PDF Creator software.

The following steps can be used with the Electronic Forms Print Server V1.0.29 and above to print HTML forms to any PC or network printer.

1.) Install the WinSpool/400 Electronic Forms base installation options including VB5 Runtimes, WinSpool/400 Report Download and WinSpool Electronic Forms.

2.) Download and install the HTML to PDF Creator from the following link:

3.) Download and install the WinSpool Electronic Forms V1.0.29 EXE update.

4.) Start the WinSpool/400 Electronic Forms print server and create a new output queue entry on the "Edit Output Queue List" screen.

Select "HTF" for the output format. HTF stands for HTML Forms.

Select "*NONE" for the print control characters.

5.) In the "Edit Print Output Directory List" screen, enter any extended selection criteria such as Form type or User data if you will be routing reports to multiple network printers for the selected output queue. Also make sure to select a printer in the "Windows Printer for HTML Printing" setting.

When you start the print server processing, HTML forms should now print to the selected printer(s).
