Installing RJS Imaging Client v4

If you have a question or seek clarification, please call Technical Support.

Please follow these instructions carefully to install RJS Imaging Client v4. If you experience any difficulties, you can refer to RJS Imaging Client v4's Troubleshooting page or contact Technical Support.

NOTE: If you are installing on Windows Server 2003 please read these instructions first.

There are no software products from RJS that must be installed first prior to the install. There are no software products from RJS that must be present in order for this product to work as designed. This product requires the following upgrade to be applied after the base installation has completed. There are no optional software products for this application.

Installation

These instructions install version 4.0.8 of RJS Imaging Client v4

Step 1: Download

Download RJS Imaging Client v4 from RJS.

Username = *********
Password = ***********

Step 2: Begin Install

As an Administrator, run RJSImagingClientSetup.exe.

Step 3: File Associations

Click the Setup button to extract installation files/programs. Please click next to continue installation.

Step 4: Select Destination (Application Folder)

Click OK to continue setup of RJS Imaging Client v4. You will be prompted to select a destination directory. Either click Next to accept the default installation directory or choose the desired destination directory.

Step 5: Select Destination (WebDocs Windows Service)

Click Next to commence installation.

Step 6: Select Destination (WebDocs iSeries DotNet API)

You will receive an installation success message. Click OK to complete the installation process.

Step 7: Install

After You Install

If you are not already licensed, please read the licensing information and contact Technical Support. Feel free to search the documentation and troubleshooting help or ask Technical Support for any questions you may have.

The RJS Imaging Client v4 installation you have completed performs a base install. An upgrade is still required to make your software current. Please ensure that the RJS Imaging Client v4 upgrade has been applied.
