Installing RJS Scripting

Please follow these instructions carefully to install RJS Scripting. If you experience any difficulties, you can refer to RJS Scripting's Troubleshooting page or contact Technical Support.

NOTE: If you are installing on Windows Server 2003 please read these instructions first.

Before You Install

There are no software products from RJS that must be installed first prior to the install.	There are no software products from RJS that must be present in order for this product to work as designed.	There is no upgrade necessary after installation.	There are no optional software products for this application.

Installation

These instructions install version of RJS Scripting

Step 1: Download

Download RJS Scripting from RJS Software Systems.

Username = *********
Password = ***********

Step 2: Begin Install

As an Administrator, run rjsscriptsetup.exe. You will be presented with the WinZip Self-Extractor message.

Step 3: Confirm

Click the Unzip button to extract installation files/programs. Click Next to confirm installation.

Step 4: Select Components

Check the boxes for components you wish to install. The defaults should be adequate. Click Next.

Step 5: Select Destination

You will be prompted to select a destination directory. Either click Next to accept the default installation directory or choose the desired destination directory.

Step 6: Begin Install

Click Next to begin install.

Step 7: Install Microsoft Windows Script Control

Confirm installation of Microsoft Windows Script Control, accepting the EULA and using the defaults.

Step 8: Install Microsoft Windows Scripting Engine

Confirm installation of Microsoft Windows Scripting Engine, accepting the EULA and using the defaults.

Step 9: Restart Computer

Since you've installed some Windows components, we would recommend you reboot.

Step 10: Finish Install

Otherwise, click Finish.
