Installing RJS iForms PC Component

Please follow these instructions carefully to install RJS iForms PC Component. If you experience any difficulties, you can refer to RJS iForms PC Component's Troubleshooting page or contact Technical Support.

NOTE: If you are installing on Windows Server 2003 please read these instructions first.

Before You Install

This software must be present prior to running the RJS iForms PC Component installation. Visual Basic 5.0 Runtime Files Install	Corequisites may be installed in any order and must be present prior to running the application. IForms iSeries Library IReport Form & Report Designer Text Layer Designer Install Java JDK 1.5 Update 12 XML Parser for Designer	This product requires the following upgrade to be applied after the base installation has completed. RJS iForms PC Component Upgrade 1.0	There are no optional software products for this application.

Installation

These instructions install version 1.0 of RJS iForms PC Component

Step 1: Download

Download RJS iForms PC Component from RJS.

Password = ***********

Step 2: Begin Install

As an Administrator, run rjsiformpcsetup.exe. You will be presented with the WinZip Self-Extractor message.

Step 3: Confirm

Click the Setup button to extract installation files/programs. You will be prompted to confirm installation of the product.

Step 4: Select Destination

Click OK to continue setup of RJS iForms PC Component. You will be prompted to select a destination directory. Either click OK to accept the default installation directory or choose the desired destination directory.

Step 5: Begin Install

Click Next to commence installation.

Step 6: Complete Install

You will receive an installation success message. Click OK to complete the installation process.

After You Install

If you are not already licensed, please read the licensing information and contact Technical Support. Feel free to search the documentation and troubleshooting help or ask Technical Support for any questions you may have.

The RJS iForms PC Component installation you have completed performs a base install. An upgrade is still required to make your software current. Please ensure that the RJS iForms PC Component upgrade has been applied.
