RNX9998 error occurs when running Domino Report Server/400 Output Queue Monitor (NTSMON)

Problem:

The following error occurs at the tail end of the output queue monitor run. All reports get captured correctly, but apparently reports are not getting marked as *SENT or are not being moved to the after processing output queue after processing

Error detail from AS/400 joblog: Pointer not set for location referenced. Internal failure in compiler or subroutine. Pointer not set for location referenced. Internal failure in compiler or subroutine. Application error. RNX9998 unmonitored by NTSMON001 at statement *N, 

 instruction X'0000'.

Solution:

If on Domino Report Server versions older than V1.55, the following temporary fix can be made CHGDTAARA DTAARA(RJSDOM/QUSRSPLA) VALUE(1411)

-or-

Install V1.55 or above of the Domino Report Server library. This problem has been resolved.
