Problem:

Error trying to copy report when trying to split a report

Message: Copy request failed for file XXXX in XXXX

Cause: The file XXXX in library specified in the TOFILE parameter must be a double-byte character set (DBCS) file.

Solution:

Update to version 4.31 or above of the AS/400 Report Splitter. Then change the data area below:

Data Area to change to enable (DBCS) support CHGDTAARA DTAARA(RJSSPLIT/RPTIGCDTA) VALUE(*YES)
