To run WinSpool 98 on a Windows Terminal Server or Citrix Server, use the following steps:

1.) Install the WinSpool 98 software on the Windows Terminal Server or Citrix Server.

2.) Create a shortcut on the Terminal server user desktops that points to the following command line:

C:\WINSPL32\WINSPL98.EXE P:\WINSPL32\WINSPL98.INI

Note: The command line listed above assumes the WinSpool 98 EXE is located in C:\WINSPL32 and the INI file will be created in a directory called P:\WINSPL32. Your settings may be different. All directories must also exist. WinSpool 98 does not automatically create the directories.

Also, the WINSPL98.INI will be created the first time WinSpool 98 is launched or you can create a master version of the INI file to copy to each user directory.

3.) In the WinSpool 98 "File/Settings/Work Files" Tab, the following settings must also point to P:\WINSPL32

Output Directory: P:\WINSPL32

Spool Listing Work File: P:\WINSPL32\WINSPL98.Q

Output Queue Listing Work File: P:\WINSPL32\WINSPL98.OQ

Spool Preview Work File: P:\WINSPL32\WINSPL98.PRV

Spool Download Work File: P:\WINSPL32\WINSPL98.TMP
