Problem:

S32EVNT1.dll and SYMevnt.386 do not match when Email Report Server is started.

Solution:

S32EVNT1.dll and SYMevnt.386 are two files that exist in both the ..\System32 and ...\Symantec directories. The two sets of files must be dated the same with the exception of the S32EVNT1.dll in the ...\symantec directory. There are 2 POSSIBLE solutions to this problem: Stop the Norton AntiVirus Client Service. This should prevent the error from occuring.

An update can be downloaded from Symantec's Website that forces the files to be in synch with each other.
