Problem:
User has a valid development license for ScanSoft but CTRL + ALT+ F5 doesn't remove the development license in the LICMGR12.EXE like it should.

Solution:
Normally if the key can't be deleted after using CTRL+ALT+F5 you must reformat the computer to re-write the registry. We have, however, discovered the registry key used by their third party license manager and you can try just deleting that to get rid of the license but since it is not the correct way to remove the license. We can't be responsible for any problems that may result from editing the registry like this. If you do decide to go ahead with this I strongly recommend backing up the registry just in case there are problems.
Here's the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\vdsp
Remove at your own risk.
