For moving the Lotus Notes Report Server database template to production on a Notes/Domino Server, do the following:

In the Batch Report Server Settings, set the following values in the "Edit Output Directory List" screen:

  1. Make sure a valid directory name is entered for the "Output PC Directory". Do not use C:\ There's a problem with using the root directory. The report gets temporarily sent to this directory before being sent over to the Notes Database. I usually use the C:\WSPBCH32 directory when I am sending reports to Lotus Notes, however this isn't mandatory.
  2. Check the "Output to Lotus Notes" flag to enable reports to be sent to the Lotus Notes DB.
  3. The "Lotus Notes Server" field should be entered. Use the File/Database/Open menus in the Lotus Notes Software to determine your server name.
  4. The "Lotus Notes Output Database" should be set to: AS400RPT.NSF (Assuming the database has been copied to the root NOTES/DATA directory on the Domino Server. You can also use the File/Database/Open menus in the Lotus Notes Software to determine the database file name and directory location on the Domino Server.)
  5. Make sure to go to File/Settings and check the "Enable Send to Lotus Notes Report Server" setting and restart the program before trying to send any reports to Lotus Notes.
  6. The next time you start the Batch Report Server, the downloaded reports for the selected directory should get sent over to the Lotus Notes database on the Domino Server.

If you get a 7063 error from the Batch Report Server it usually means the path was set incorrectly for finding the AS400RPT.NSF database.

Note: Had one instance with a Notes Client Location set to Island (Disconnected) Once we set it to Office (Network) they were then connected to the intranet. Then everything worked.
