Setting WinSpool/400 Object Authorities

To correctly set object authorities for the WinSpool/400 software, sign on to the AS/400 as Security Officer and run the following AS/400 commands:

1. To grant object authority to the WinSpool/400 library, type the following command:

GRTOBJAUT OBJ(QSYS/WINSPOOL) OBJTYPE(*LIB) USER(*PUBLIC) AUT(*CHANGE) 

2. To grant object authority to the WinSpool/400 library objects, type the following command:

GRTOBJAUT  OBJ(WINSPOOL/*ALL) OBJTYPE(*ALL) USER(*PUBLIC) AUT(*CHANGE) 

After performing the above steps, the WinSpool/400 object security should be set correctly.
