Setting WinSpool/400 Spool Control Authority

To be able to download reports created by another AS/400 user, a user has to have the Spool Control Authority parameter set in their user profile.

1. To give a user Spool Control Authority, sign on to the AS/400 as the Security Officer and use the CHGUSRPRF command to add the Spool Control Authority security authorization for the selected user. The Spool Control Authority is set under the Special Authority keyword SPCAUT by typing *SPLCTL as the option.

After performing the above steps, the AS/400 Spool Control Authority should be set correctly.
