Setting up a new Image Server/400 Web Configuration

1. Enter in IP address of AS/400 followed by port 2001. Example: http://125.1.1.53:2001

2. Click on IBM HTTP Server for AS/400

3. Click on Configuration and Administration

4. Click on Create HTTP Server

5. Type in a name for your new HTTP server

6. Leave the Configuration name the same as your HTTP server name

7. Type in a Port number that is not being used

8. The directory does not matter because you will remove it from the configuration, so just click next

9. This just shows all the information that you entered, so just click next.

10. Go to option 22 from our main menu to add our Web Server Directives to your new HTTP Configuration.

11. Change the "To member or label" to your HTTP Configuration name

12. Then goto option 23 to edit your HTTP configuration.

13. Type in your new HTTP Configuration name

14. Put a 4 next to the line that says Pass /* /www/ConfigName/* to delete the line.

If for some reason you have problems with config file, remove sequence number 00020.

15. Now you can goto the WebDocs - iSeries Edition login page by typing in the path as follows:

http://AS400_IP_Address:Port/imageserver/doc100r?action=init
