Problem:

User gets the following error when attempting to download a file to a MS Excel spreadsheet using the MS Excel ODBC driver:

Severe,-1305: S0002: [Microsoft][ODBC Excel Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object 'itemmast'. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly.

Solution:

This error is caused when a user has created a MS Excel ODBC drvier entry and the named range "itemmast" wasn't created in the MS Excel spreadsheet.
