Problem:

Software Appears to Be Expired Even Though Permanent License Files or Valid Temporary Access Codes Have Been Issued

Solution:

This problem can occur with the TCP/IP versions of our products if the AS/400 user password expires. Once the AS/400 password has been reset, the software should function normally again.

The problem can also occur if the AS/400 FTP Server has been disabled. The STRTCPSVR *FTP command can be run on the AS/400 reenable the FTP Server.

One other cause may be if an AS/400 user ID is set to Limited Capabilities *YES and the appropriate AS/400 commands have not been set to allow access by users with Limited Capabilities.
